Barbour Limited Edition by To Ki To

Classic British outdoor clothing company Barbour has teamed up with Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida to launch a new limited edition capsule collection for Autumn Winter '09.
J. Barbour & Sons, known for their iconic waxed jackets, was founded in 1894 and holds Royal Warrants from HM Queen Elizabeth II, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, and HRH The Prince of Wales.

A graduate of Kuwasawa Design School, Tokihito previously designed for companies including Blades Savile Row in Japan before founding his own brand, To Ki To, in 1997. Consisting of five waxed and three waterproof jackets for men, the inspiration for the new To Ki To range came from Barbour's rich archive, which goes as far back as 1908, along with technical innovations and a modern fit.

Tokihito is renowned for the detail that he adds to his garments and he has taken Barbour's distinctive style and added his own signature design to create a unique collection that includes a wax Trench Coat, Bicycle, Horse Riding, Motor Riding and Driving jackets. Special features include zip on/zip off detachable helmet-style hoods, detachable padded vests, water-resistant map pockets, and integral storm skirts. On the trench coat, the vent and the front of the jacket combine to make a pair of "culottes" with the button features.

adidas x Porsche Design Bounce:S Footwear

Having tried to keep this under wraps for a few months now, due to the growing excitement on the continent we felt the time was right to show the first pictures of the forthcoming Bounce:S shoe from the highly exclusive adidas x Porsche Design project.

Designed in the Porsche Design studio in Zell am See, Austria, the premium running shoe is characterised by a technical metal spring damping and a purist mesh fabric that forms the upper of the shoe. Whereas traditional shoes drain your energy with thick, dense foam, the Bounce:S suspension system - developed by adidas - returns more of the energy for smooth, stable ride.

Since its conception, the Bounce:S has already won a whole host of prestigious awards including the "Plus X Award", Europe`s biggest technology, sport and lifestyle competition; the German "Red Dot Award" for innovative design, which is awarded every year by an international jury made up of well know design experts. Listed as a "High-Tech Running Shoe", it was also named as one of the 50 best inventions of 2008 by US based Time magazine.

For this Super Exclusive collection (we will also be receiving the ultra-tech apparel collection), Triads have proudly been chosen by adidas Germany, along with the prestigious Harrods store, London, as the only two stockists in the UK to house the collection.

More photos will be added as soon as we receive them.

Fred Perry x The Specials 30th Anniversary Collection

Fred Perry are proud to announce the forthcoming collection - produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Specials - one of the most seminal and influential brands in British music history.

The band have worked closely with the Fred Perry design team to produce three shirt styles that encapsulate the iconic style of The Specials.

The shirts have been created around the core theme of 'black and white unite' so important to the band and their music. This is reflected in the monochrome palette and the unique twin coloured laurels and chequer detailing.

The collection is due for release towards the end of June, and inkeeping with the bands request for exclusivity (only a handful of stores have been chosen to house the collection), they will be available instore only.

Adidas Kegler Super - Coming soon....

After much anticipation, the Kegler Super from adidas should start arriving mid-January.

In the 1980's, Adidas experimented with comfort and suspension with a series of models using a unique shock absorption system. The system allowed you to use a series of moveable pegs to change the comfort or feel of the shoe to suit your needs.

Another intriguing feature of the shoe is the durable oxhide strip that wraps arond the toe guard, extending all the way to the bottom of the shoe, covering the midsole and outsole.

Presented here in luxurious leathers and an archive colourway.

Due to high demand, we have now started taking pre-orders on our site and those lucky enough to grab a pair should receive them before the end of January `09.

To pre-order a pair please follow the link:

Soon to be arriving is the fantastic watch collection from New York based Nooka Watches.

Nooka is the brainchild of artist and designer, Matthew Waldman. In 1997, Matthew had a flash-back to a first grade math class while staring at a large wall clock in a London hotel and was struck by how few options there were for time display. He then sketched his ideas for potential designs on a napkin and brought them back to New York. After working on the designs, he submitted them to his legal team, and indeed, they were unique enough to patent!

The linear and graphic representation of time with Nooka timepieces presents a more intuitive way to view time. The visual mass increases as time passes, giving weight to an ephemeral and abstract concept.

Once you're used to the new visual paradigm, you may never go back to standard analog and digital time displays for your wrist.

They will soon be arriving in a number of styles and a whole array of colours!!
